If I use onboard video instead of a PCI-E card, will I save much money in the electricity bill?

I can't translate that to money, as we have no idea about your energy bill rates.
You will save some money, but question should really be "Do I need looking at your hardware: 50-250W.
Want to experiment yourself.
I unattached my monitors from my PCI-E video card and attached them to the onboard video card. I'm not using the PCI-E card anymore. Is it using any electricity? Should I uninstall it? Will I save money if I remove it from my system?

Yes, it does use electricity it safe (but do not forget that computer....
I would just leave it in there.
Even if it is using electricity, it wont be much.
That is using electricity, but probably not much.
They usually have a fan on them.

External drives that are not host-powered (which have to be wired to a power outlet with an adapter of their own) have at least 4 different power measurements .
You could lookup the technical specifications for you specific drive .

However, I know that I owe THEM money and not the other way round so it may get then I have used a HUGE amount of electricity....
Either that or I've used a hell of a lot of electricity doesn't happen.
That the meter didn't read 0 at any stage.
