I was wondering if electrification work has already commenced? I've not yet seen OHLE appear on the line, although I don't know as I'm not familiar on how previous large-scale electrification projects on the topic of the GWML electrification....

Having said that you have one in the best condiation I have ever seen in 50 years of collecting .

They work great, and are way, way quieter than diesel buses .
For decades, Seattle has had electric city buses (aka "trackless trolleys") on many routes, powered by overhead wires .
Overhead electric power needn't be limited to rail vehicles.
