We'll, but it's believable he wouldn't have said it in the way Jock did.
Perhaps JR isn't as much as a 'hard' father as Jock was.

Has that ever been established? We do know that Ray was born nine months after WW2. So was Gary born before Jock went overseas or was he born after the war ended. And if so how long after WW2 was he born.
Anyone know the answer to that?

I think she was a good actress, but she was miscasted in the part of Miss Ellie IMO.... I don't know how feasible an explanation this is, but maybe Miss Ellie had business affairs to conduct, such as charities, and had her sister come to Southfork, played...
