Get wheels or narrow rear end first?
Any time a rear end is to be narrowed the wheels and tires should be the very first thing that is purchased. The wheels and tires need to be put in position under the car and a measurement taken between the mounting flanges of the wheels to get the EXACT rear end width. Then the rear end can be built so that the wheels and tires fit exactly where they should. source
Jacking up the rear end?
I would never work on the NSX without using the correct jacking points with a trolly jack and rubber bricks between the trolly jack and car point. Also most important, I would never slide under the car with just the jack holding it up, ALWAYS use axle stand if you dont have a lift. source
Does a mini tub require a narrower fuel tank?
I stand corrected, it would be the 2nd gens I had experiance with. Looks like they snaked it through quite nicely on that first gen in the pics they posted. source
Narrowed Beam?
Glasser, the body has 2 indents that the towers now fit under. If i narrow the beam i would have to make 2 cutouts for the towers. U can see the mold indents next to the tank opening. source
Tranny and rear end options?
No I dont really know what I want other than a good posi rear end. I guess it doesn't really matter all that much because no matter what I use I will have to do a fair amount of work, but obviously the less work the better. I'm planning on running a 12" wide tire and I will be bagging the car, and using 2006 vette brakes all around. source
