I just had a TLH on Tuesday, due to cervical cancer and recurring ovarian cysts, along with VERY painful menstruation and a family history of uterine fibroids.
My surgeon got in and...surprise...endometriosis! My right ovary was just destroyed...

I didn't have a surprise endometriosis diagnosis, I had my hysterectomy because of it, but I wanted existing endometriosis.

I must say I like the Endometrial Specialist very much and kick myself for not seeing her sooner.
She doesn't recommend a hysterectomy at this point if need be she will take out my uterus and one ovary. Other then that given my history and such she wants...

She said her Urologist can do it in a way I moved it up and she is booking fast .
