I've tried both if there is or is going to be an extension to make this possible, to bring privacy back to google searches.

Google (any online service we use) paid the folks who built their search engine, calendars, etc time.
We've all heard the privacy issues with Google and seen the boated gratuitious graphics of Bing. Is anyone using alternatives like DuckDuckGo ? Do the "aggregator" meta-searchers like DogPile do anything to help avoid the cookies, captures, and profiling...

In all fairness it should probably be called "Porn" mode .
If you're that worried about privacy, Chrome has a nice Incognito mode.
Google has been doing this for some time. They track your IP, what your searching for, and time & date. I heard about a different search engine today. Its called startpage. https://startpage.com/ . They claim they dont track your searchs.

And search engines that protect privacy, such as duckduckgo, as still perfectly fine ....
So? If you don't want google's terms then use a lesser search engine.

Being impartial as a search engine is paramount.
The recent consolidating plans of Google have caused me to consider using a different engine. There are a few more private search engines out there and this one even lists some. I think I'll try it for a while and see how I like it. Here's the < About...

If I'm signed out (as I usually am) and have the usual privacy.
I'll stick with Google.
