Ok, I have my Axe Fx 2 now since two months. For my musical projects, I need mostly high gain sounds (Energyball, Das Metall, Euro Uber etc.), but playing around with it, I also tried the other models, and I fell in love with the low to mid gain models...

First time playing The Struggle Within at Prague this week.
To me they sound GREAT (given the poor quality recording).
It seems as if James' voice has some of his characteristic growl back and lost some of the operatic high notes he had been using recently...

I know, I'm supposed to be spending my time finishing my setup and review of the OAF. I will get back to that, hopefully this weekend. After work, hanging out with my daughter, cooking, and doing laundry, I just wasn't up to tweaking a guitar setup tonight...

Just got out of tracking, 3 days straight.
12 songs , new record.
Only thought I was going to have time for basic rhythm trax so I took the vh4.
Ended up being on every track, and pretty much finished all the guitars with the vh4!
The engineer was impressed...
