Is there a solution for X^e+Y^e=Z^e, where X,Y,and Z are whole numbers and e is the base of the natural log? I know, due to Fermat, that no whole number solutions exist for whole number exponents greater than 2, but e isn't a whole number (2.718281828...

I would guess that it is hard to prove/unknown it for a specific number like e .
It is false in general for irrational numbers tough (and quite easy to prove) .
I thought it was untrue for Rational exponents in general cant remember why tough .
On Mon, 26 Jan 2009 06:01:20 -0600, "noBadCAD" <no@bad.mail ... however if you prefer an 'equasion' <g turns = 50 r_ = .25 theta = 360 * t r = 5 + r_ * cos(theta * turns) z = r_ * sin(theta * turns)

As a point of interest, this equasion will produce this with a few other equasion....
Peter On Mon A very prompt reply indeed and thanks again .
The equasion was exactly what I needed.

On Sun, 25 Jan 2009 17:08:47 -0800 (PST), Peter <beamin@execulink.com This should get your hats smokin. I can do this with a sine wave, but now I need to wrap a helix around a rod and I can't come up with an equasion that works. Can anyone suggest...

I'm building a 3D game but i only plan on using a 2D perspective thus not taking the z axis into the equasion, i want to be able to limit the movement of one of my models so it doesn't move out of the unmoving field of view, when i was designing 2D it...

On the question however, it seems that maybe what you are after is a form of collision detection.
The obvious difference I'm aware of, is the ability to interface to certain MS products, such as Exchange. But for one not having to administer such products, what are the advantages of Powershell? What are the reasons to learn Powershell at all (assuming...

Those nasty objects into the equasion, think of powershell as having automatic sed and awk.
According to the harris & benedict equasion i need just under 3,000 cals a day to gain weight . my question is if im consuming 3,000 cals a day in protein/veggies/fats at roughly 40/40/20 would i still make gains the only meal that would provide any starchy...

From the WSJ, and a bunch of Republican hacks who refuse to acknowledge one entire side of the economic equasion. On the right of the equasion is spending and cuts, which is all this article (and every economic article today)talks about. The Dems want...

On the right of the equasion....
One entire side of the economic equasion.
It relates to maths and logic.

Posted Today, 05:30 PM Hey, TGIF? Q: A lot of the heavier tip weights, both for steel and graphite, measure as much as 5/16" below the tip when installed. Does robbing the shaft and hosel of that much bonding surface weaken the bond, or affect the shaft...

TOM Thanks....
With parallel tip shafts in which the shaft that I'm gonna re-shaft, and by the time I add the tip weight into the equasion, I have less than woods though.
Into the equasion, I have less than one inch of hosel bore to work with.
I've been doing some reading to see exactly what size tires my 79 came with from the factory so I can do some ring and pinion calculations and all the literature says it came with L-78-15B's. can someone give me an idea what this is in modern terms? *...
