I have been having problems with MS Security Essentials Anti-Virus . When the computer starts up i notice it to be very slow , i cannot access network links and i notice that the network icon does not load until i end "MsMpEng.exe" which i know is related...

Again though, once you have a virus, Microsoft Security Essentials is the (actual) better (free) anti-malware.
I personally recommend Microsoft Security Essentials .
Antivirus.

Hi, When I start the pc using latest version of MSE it seems to be running and slowing up the start considerably, If I put it on Manual, I then most of the time forget to restart it.
Is there a utility or anyway to keep it on automatic but delay the start...

As with any Service you can choose the startup type by right clicking on Microsoft Antimalware Service|Properties|Startup....

--I may be wrong but I think MS Security Essentials relies on a Service called Microsoft Antimalware Service .

I think you ran System Restore....
It'll do some magic off that CD.
Then click on "Startup fix".
Did you hit some odd combo of an Fn key and something else? Pop Win7 install (should only give one Windows 7 link) .
Removing security essentials.

I can't access AVG 2012 since the AV Security Essentials program installed itself.
With a warning to say 2 virus programs had not been de-activated - AVG 2012 & AV Security Essentials.
