And I'd never use a flash on the go: artificial the 18-200 is great for travel....
Two weeks worth is great for travel, and of reasonable quality.
I travel way too light for a bag full of lenses.

I brought my manfrotto 190B recently on a europe trip.
It's better to invest on a real tripod instead.
