Hello everybody,
How can I convert European format date to USA in javascript, here is an example:
30.01.2010 -> European 2010-01-30 -> USA
Meaning convert d.m.Y to Y-m-d, I know how to do this in php but I need it in javascipt

Just split the european date into an array, reverse it, and then join it with dashes.

They're just character codes, and can be converted using printf-style '%C' .
So you're talking about unicode escape sequences.

And if the server expects the data to be submitted in latin-1, you... .
What matters is what encoding the server of the old site expects .
IIUC, it doesn't really matter what the web pages on the old site are encoded in, as the form will be on the new site .
