A few years ago I switched from using Thawte SSL's (a verisign company) to Verisign because of the better name recognition Verisign provides. To that end I've been happy with it and believe it gave our e-commerce visitors a better sense of security when...

Your users certainly won't know (or care) the difference between an EV cert from one provider and an EV cert from another as long as their browser has the relevant root certificates such that it will accept the certificate without prompting....
ModRewrite can easily handle stripping the www off the front of my domain. In .htaccess: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.(.+)$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%1/$1 [R=301,L] RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteCond...

Considering the fact that the EV provider might be giving you a logo to put on your site - during checkout.
Got into this discussion this weekend, and am wondering if some of the math heads can show me a proof and/or help enlighten me with the correct way to think about this. Scenario: V1 opens UTG for $20, V2 calls $20, V3 calls $20, $V4 raises to $90. I am...

Well yeah, any time you win uncontested money the EV is 100% of the pot because you face no action to call you.
Consider the following sample code which uses a TrustManager to log whether an outgoing connection used a valid certificate (but accept the connection in all cases): import java.security.*; import java.security.cert.*; import javax.net.ssl.*; public class...

First, you'll need a table of issuer names and their corresponding EV policy identifiers.

Exp Share allows the pokemon to get the full amount of EVs - but EV modifiers like Pokerus, Macho Brace, and Power Items only affect individual....
In situation 1, I believe B would get 1 EV, in situation 2, it should get 2 EVs.
Problems with non EV cars parking in EV Charging spaces? Anyone having problems with non-ev cars parking in EV designated parking spaces with level 2 chargers? I have run accross this alot recently while at Kohl's stores (SoCal) that do have charging ...

Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at gm-volt):
If the people that manage EV charging spots can't be bothered to put up signs that say they will tow if a non-charging car parks there, then they probably can't be bothered to do anything if an EV as a tow zone given how few EVs there....
So, what are EVs exactly? Simply put, EV stands for “Effort Value.” You gain these when you battle any Pokemon. The only way to not gain an EV is to have the maximum number of EVs you can have. Basically, you are allowed a total of 510 EVs for any one...

EV/IVs are only unless you swing the bat.
I'm not going to bother with IV's or EV's until after I beat the game.
