Why only one exercise for your back? Its such a large area to cover between horizontal and vertical throughout my workout (I normally do 4-5 exercises).

But never mentioned solos and work on arpeggios instead of scale exercises.
He h ad me practicing the major scale in broken 3rds, 4-note sequences, etc.

So my "project" horse, while being generally ok under saddle, can be very silly in hand or while lunging. Tsuy put it best when she described him as "a schoolboy gazing out the window." I think there is very little in the world that he is truly afraid...

What do you do with your barrel horse besides practicing the pattern? Any exercises you use to help a green horse sharpen their turns, get used to leg, with the barrels, etc.? I'm thinking probably just regular flat exercises but please do share...
