You can run git-log --name-status , which echoes something like:

It is most likely possible to achieve your goal using other WPF features like data binding .
However, I'd recommend steering clear of this approach if possible .
You can use VisualTreeHelper to walk up the visual tree and find the ListViewItem .

I just realized (yes, this was stupid of me) that IE8 Compatibility Mode is NOT IE7.
All the time I assumed they would be switching back to the IE7 binaries, which apparently they aren't, as indicated by another question I found here in SO.

Experience had taught me that MultiIE....
Ietester is slow and bugridden & has issues with iframes & script sometimes + you dont get the cover across all the OS ie versions either which can make a big difference .

The only step in that direction seems to be the git-cheetah project, but it hasn't been worked on in months and is currently in the "nothing really works" phase .
Personally, I really wish that there was the equivalent of tortoiseSVN for git .
