This is from the Bulgarian Embassy in London from another website that British Subject passport holders are being refused entry at Varna & Bourgas status can be found on the passport....
Entering Bulgaria will need to have their own passport.

I'm currently on a Non_Immigrant Ed Visa at Walen School which I picked up in Singapore in January this year.
I believe I have a couple of options, I will be 50 in June and returning to the UK for a week or 2.
I have 2 kids with my Thai girlfriend...

It expires at the end of the year you get another full 12 months but this time as the visa is expired youThe retirement visa is the easiest visa out there, once your 50 of course.

I see no issue in a dependant visa for your situation, cash in the bank any category..
Both to qualify the wrong side of the bar.
The retirement visa is the easiest visa out there, once your 50 of course.

My friend wants to apply EEA visa, but he does not have valid passport, expired a month ago.
To exchange his expired passport in the uk with his country embassy, he needs to show valid visa in the uk, His visa expired as well. So, no chance to exchange...
