Why does it seem like every one is getting Mil/Mil turrests instead of MOA/MOA??
Whats the advantage of it?

If you are sure I am wrong please explain how you and your partner are using the same system.
With 40 MOA drop you will be off 19".

Allright so i am trying to understand how this works. at 100 yds. 1 click is 1/4 inch. what is it at 200,300,400?? and how does MOA work? can anybody explain this for me?

So at 400 yds i would turn it to 7 .
And it has the 1,2,3,4 and so on marked on it .
My scope is marked as 1 click =1/4 moa at 100 yds.
And i am sighted in to hit right on at 100 i need to go up 7 MOA.
400 yds.

I got my gun sighted in today from 100-600 yards, i have all my moa adjustment for each 100 yards now but is there any calculations or calculators where i can find out how much my bullet is actually dropping?

Ok i think the super sniper scope i have is a 1/4 moa per click. if i understand this correctly,that is 1/4" @ 100yrds per click,1 moa (4 clicks) @100yrds is 1". 1 moa compounds per 100yrds, 2"@200, 3"@300 and so on, correct?so if my walmart ammo drops...

We have to subtract 5% if it's a true moa scope, because a true MOA is 5% bigger at 100 yds than, that's the difference between....
1/4 MOA per click it will take 7.6 minutes (7.5 is as close as we can get with 1/4 moa corrections).

Just seems weird to me...for example:
If I buy a Colt AR-15, and replace everything except the barrel and bolt carrier with Noveske, Magpul, JP, etc parts...then what was the point of buying the AR in the first place when I can just piece something together...

Add bolt knob, detach mag & do-dads....
AR's & Bolt guns are apples and oranges Not really "looking" for anything! That said, but half do anything for accuracy! Take an average SPS Tac, probably sub MOA out the box...
Are .5 moa out-of-box.
