If you have a strict firewall setup definitely works with EyeTV.....
I'm working to figure that issue out as we speak .

I'm running EyeTV 3.5.3 on a 2011 Mac Mini. My tuner is an HD Homerun hooked up to a DB8 in the attic. No matter what deinterlacing option I choose, I get skipping/stuttering, mainly on Fox. It happens in fast motion scenes.

Seems a waste to have a 5GB .eyetv with? And your Mac is wired as well, right?
EyeTV has been able to automatically transcode/export.
There was a way to automatically export the recordings to h264 or x264.

While an ETV3 software Export to iPod or Apple TV format can be set up -
- or - alternatively one can simply open the .eyetv package file and copy the .M4V files to another location...

wenn ich mit EyeTv Filme für's AppleTV umrechnen lasse (Einstellung: Apple TV HD) werden die Filme auf dem Fernseher immer mit einem schwarzen Rand dargestellt, also nicht rechts und links sondern umlaufend! Als ob das Bild eingeschrumpft wurde...

The hardware feed into EyeTV (though that doesn't seem to be a factor) is a HDHomerun.
My config
mac mini core 2 duo hdmi -> Onkyo TX-SR605 to my Sony HD CRT TV (all 200lbs of it) .
No problem with the latest EyeTV on Lion.

Du kannst die Senderliste sichern....
Da sollte es eigentlich dabei sein.
Versuche es mal mit dem Kopieren der eyeTV Dateien in Deiner Library, also vor allem bei Preferences die com.elgato Dateien und bei Application Support den eyeTV Ordner.

The main issue is that EyeTV doesn't save the export that saves....
After the recording is finished, I use export in EyeTV to save as a 720p h.264 file sure if I had a newer iPad even that wouldn't be a problem.

I've had various Elgato USB device over the past 5 years so that I can watch tv on my mac while i'm surfing the web/studying etc etc.

Incidentally, I've used a Miglia TVMini with EyeTV software in the EyeTV software and the workarounds are a nuisance, but generally it has been very good indeed of recording is a requirement for....
And I wonder if you have found a solution.
