What about reimbursement?
Does msk ultrasound exposure during residency help getting into a good msk fellowship?

I posted yesterday about my mom's plans to visit and attend my ultrasound. I uninvited her to my US because of the way she has been treating me during my pregnancy. I didn't want her to ruin the US experience for DH and I.
But I sit here thinking that...

Pros's is ultrasound= more respected career, higher ....
For Ultrasound you have to know all of the organs is how to properly position the patient and press a button to take a picture.
Ultrasound is much more difficult that Radiology.

That said, they've been in use long enough (decades, even) that we can concerned about the ultrasound....
Cro/2012/05/what-to-reject-when-you-re-expecting/index.htm I'd be less concerned about the ultrasound effects from cumulative exposure.

The left 5.4cm nodule is more worrisome. Many people would have this removed based on size alone but this is not universally agreed upon. At minimum, we do FNA biopsy two separate times for nodules of this size and then if benign Benign ear cyst or tumor...

I did find on internet that Italy has Laser Treatment to remove benign modules .
But looks like there is no solution, at least not in the US currently .
I wish there is a way to remove the nodules and keep my working thyroid .
