As Chopper3 says it will depends on the switch, it also depends on feature used (vlan, acl, mulicast, etc.) .
Depends a little on the switch but generally it makes sense for them to be on the same card if possible .

It is an easy job carry it? I used the 303 Fabric Guard....
I would suggest doing the fabric in the doors also if you have that.
It takes one can to do all the seats.
Also cover the non-fabric plastic if you can.
Open to spray it on.
