DOes anyone have any ideas for a really good science fair project for 4-6 th grade?? We are researching project ideas and have not found any. Last year he did a project about smokes effects on plants. The year before are name brand batteries really better...

So I had my young fellar out to the range on Sunday shooting the .223. He got so excited he wanted to do his science fair project on the ability of common materials at stopping bullets...
I figure what the heck... We are gonna test steel plate, 3/4" plywood...

My ds who is 12 finished her science project tonight and they will judge it on february 3rd she did which gum lasts longer...and my ds who is 10 did a science project on which nail will corrode faster.
