We will be visiting Niagara Falls in October. We will be traveling down to Washington DC from there. Can someone recommend a scenic drive from Niagara Falls to DC with a good place to stop overnight on the way? Also, trying to figure out any suggestions...

Greyhound runs from Niagara Falls, ON to Washington will get you from Niagara....
It does have one run daily (leaving at 11:45pm) from Buffalo to Washington .
In November Megabus only operates FROM Niagara Falls,ON to Toronto .

There are lots of places to eat on the Lake, a very quaint little historic town ... .
Walk down Clifton Hill to the falls, enjoy the views, then head back to Clifton Hill.
Parking down at the falls is around $20.
Lot, I think it's $8 or $10.

If you opt for Basell's the Canadian Omlette is unbelievably big! Falls.
Falls Manor on Lundy's Lane is another very popular local place.
Check the reviews with a grain of salt.
Like them, some don't.

There are parking lots if you decide parking lot at the Horseshoe Falls....
To the Horseshoe Falls along the edge of the gorge in Queen Victoria Park , or catch the People Mover bus that will take you to all the Niagara Parks attractions.

The weather in late april or may will not be much different from yours in Ohio .
A cot or a crib will cost you a bit extra .
The marriot will accomodate you with either 2 double beds or a king with a pullout sofa, cot or crib .
