Do any of you have multiple washers or dryers? People give a strange look when they discover we have 3 washers and 2 dryers....plus hang clothes out.

With our move we had to downsize..

But what does it mean to put two column families into the same table, as opposed to having separate...

If you put two column families in the same table separate tables.
You've got the idea of column families right on: basically it's just a hint to HBase to store and replicate these items together for faster access.

I use fonttester to test and try web safe fonts combinations

Wrap printf().
You never want to use vprintf() directly, but it's incredibly handy when you need to e.g .
