I have always been reserved, shy and a bit of an introvert with no more than a couple or so of friends. Having a baby last year made it even more difficult for me as I dealt with the stress of a newborn. So, my closest friend couldn't understand I guess...

I think it's an interesting concept - how we can consider people we are not related to by blood to be some of the closest people to us. Some of us may even have friends who we consider more important and closer than our family.
