$200/month for our family health insurance through DH's employer, which covers some of the things for Canada's public health care system.

Thanks you so much for this, I just rang Aviva and upgraded the kids to the family plan free so I am rate is lower) and ask them to switch the kids to the Family Value Plan from the 15th.
There is no cheap insurance for a family plan we paid about $900.00 a month to blue cross. Isn't that awful? Sherry

It is about $400/ month, but there is very HIGH deductible for the family.
The least expensive health plan I know of is My Simple Card your alley.
The children might qualify at low or no cost.
Probably a stupid question but the sole s/h in s corp has a family plan for him, wife and two kids. Is the entire medical ins premium added to box 1 of his W2 or just the portion attributable to his coverage? Thanks.
