Is there any family friendly resteraunts with kids playground in SW Sydney?

I know it's not south west, but depending how far west you are, or how far you're willing to travel, I know Gymea Trade Union Club has a child friendly area inside one of their restaurants. They have things like Playstations, TV's games and other activities for the kids to do, while you enjoy your dinner in peace. I personally have never been there, but when I enquired about it, they said you have to book in advance... source

What to do with kids when you have no family in the area?

If you have any friends I am sure they will not mind watching your other children. You can also find a babysitter who will watch your children during the day while your husband is at the hospital. source

How often do your non-school age kids socialize with other kids?

We try to get out and be around other children at least once per week, though we do not have a regular group of friends that we meet up with. Usually we go to library story time, the children's museum or a playground. Fortunately for us we live in a warm climate and outdoor play is still an option during the winter months. DS doesn't seem too interested in other kids right now so I don't feel too bad about it. I might try harder to be around other children as he gets older. source

Having 3 kids vs 4 kids?

Well, I'm pregnant with my 4th so I haven't yet had to deal with them all together. The thing that makes me consider a 4th to be a transition to a big family is that we won't all fit in most standard cars. Right now we can all squish in a Hyundai Elantra. We'll be needing to upgrade to a minivan by the time the new one arrives. I guess lots of people get minvans before they actually need them for the extra seats, we just prefer cars. source
