There is a hot debate on this topic on one of my FB friends' pages. I've worn black a ton to weddings - IMO, weddings are one of the reasons to own an LBD. But I also wear white after Labor Day and probably don't even know (or care) how many other fashion...

Not usually solid black, but yes most of what I've worn to weddings has been black-based) pink dress that I love and wore to weddings....
I wear white all year.
I wear black to weddings all the time!! Heck, most BM dresses are black these days.

The closest are the 5 weddings I attended while pregnant, and thus didn't drink family is extremely conservative and don't drink so it was fine with them.
