I dont see why not - men do! Do you mean a pant suit like you would wear to business or do you mean a lady's tuxedo or something in between?
I wouldn't wear a pant suit like I'd wear to the office night.

One problem with burgundy of this color it looks much better in cordovan... .
Burgundy is acceptable in some parts of the US but is even less formal, or conservative than dark brown.
However they are perceived as less formal and less conservative.

It's kind of interesting because it's hard to pin down. I used to think it was a liberal/conservative thing (back when my point of comparison was mostly just rural Lutheran churches only olds go to and more modern family-oriented ones like where my parents...
