My view is when a parent bails on a child at a young age, they lose their right to be accepted.
Fathers bail all the time yet if the mother, don't.

J is an avid reader, and while we do read the sections together in What to Expect, he wants to find a handbook of sorts for fathers. He doesn't mind a little humor, but also doesn't like when they "dumb it down" too much. Any ideas?

For me it was a 11 month battle....
Partly broken up when i found out i was pregnant ( i was trying to make things work but the pregnancy on the birth certifiactes, Pretty much if you know who the father is you have to name him (new laws ).
