Just bought Dunlop 908 RR 140/80 R18 and noticed that it will not fit my 2009 FE450 without scratching the exhaust silencer (Akra slip-on which is quite slim). The interference is or would be if installed around 5mm. Anyone with similar findings? Measured...

And the tread rides are - 1982 XT250, 2006 KLX250/300, but mine too
my rides are currently - 1981 IT175, 1998 FE, and really good in the sand.
I found the rubber to be too hard for my taste.
908RR was really disappointing.

NR, Your most likely culprit is the large rubber like hose that connects the tank & filler tube in the rubber area.
