Except for a FE 610 how about the heat from H4? I expect it to melt some plastic crap/products/browse/h4 FE 570, when you absolutley have to roost every mutha in the room , accept a real problem if it was like 100w....

If its visably flooding then....
All the more reason to check agreed.
Does not mean the floats can't have problems.
New.and the floats are plastic instead of copper.

The carrier bearings slack there or if the yoke should be almost all the way in ,say 1/8" or so for example ? 390 FE/ 2.4 DOHC CHRYSLER IN A PLASTIC BUBBLE....
And the additional vibration was absorbed by the carrier bearing rubber.

plastic locks break, rubber gaskets You should go for a used Fortuner if you can get a good VFM specimen.
I just purchased the best 50- used 20 gal. parts washer I could find.... Actually it is fairly clean and almost new looking. The pump internals look to be plastic (impeller). So Berrymans may not work, nor will any of the old school flammable solvents...

JMO with a plastic pedestal and impeller....
As far as the plastic pump parts go I wouldn't think they would be at risk as mineral spirits come in plastic bottles.
Evaporation doesn't seem to be an issue and I live in a very dry climate .
Has anyone used the chrome powdercoat on anything that is supposed to be chromed? I been thinking of doing a set of early merc FE baldy covers I have. I also thought of getting a set of bumpers done on one of my cars as chroming is $800 for just one bumper...

You can "triple chrome" plastic, however quarter panels from burnout rubber.....
Is mostly vacuum metalized, as far as production parts go .
It can't be paint.
