Took my 1991 Mk2 Gti out for a spin today. First time it had been out of the garage since November...damn it felt good!!
It drives so differently to the girlfriend's 1989 Mk2 Gti..yet I enjoy driving both of them!!
I guess mine should feel a bit different...

Even then it only managed 1000 miles on it's new engine before it sh*t itself again (before then it was off of the road since early in the year) .

Ice and water sheild is quite expensive in comparison to felt paper lb.
The sticky stuff you refer to is called ice of "melts" around it sealing the hole .
Felt paper can be referred to as tar paper sometimes.

I haven't felt a thing, but I'm only 16 weeks I've felt what other moms describe movement to feel like but that doesn't mean it was the baby.
