A few famous people played them, but so what? I don't see the guitar drifting out of tune, get a graphite nut and sperzel locking tuners.
I've never seen the appeal of this guitar.

That's what I started out on back in the mid 60s. My parents bought me a Sears electric guitar that had the Silvertone amp built right into the hard case.
I had that for a couple years and learned most of the basics on it. Action was pretty much non existent...
