Personally i would have to say but It would be highly unlikely that a hen... .
They are fertile the moment they lay they first egg of the year...hen or pullet...works for me...they usually stay fertile till the moment they sit down on em eggs.

That's not even.
Be fertile at ANY time, and especially at 14 years old you should not take ANY chances ever ever ever ever EVER rely on a period calendar to tell you when you are fertile.
