Is it crazy to arrive in Hokaido during february snow festival?

Accomodation is mega expensive during the ice festival but HEY your there GO stay 1 night somewhere and go see it. It is worth going and having a look then you can get up bright and early in the morning catch the bus to Niseko and be on the slopes by the afternoon PERFECT! source

Changes to Festival of the Lights?

Would you appreciate destruction and expense of your property to perserve a concert? Probably not and as such, you'd want there to be changes too no doubt. source

Does the flower and gardern festival actually end all in one day?

They start dismanteling the displays right after the park closes on the last day of the festival. I remember seeing a lot of empty flower beds a few years ago on the day after the flower and garden festival. You may see a few remnants of the festival but none of the great photo op displays that you could have seen a few days earlier. Even the large character topiaries were quickly moved out of the park. source
