For me accuracy first can be and usually is emotional .
My Altec 604E Duplexes sound like music to me.
Musical? to me, in this context, it means "sounds like music" .
About the same as cooked fish with lemon and salt and without.. .

When compared to factory ink (lets say, on my old Epson R200), how reliable is the color reproduction with the typical $50 ebay continuous ink systems? Will the colors fade over time? Primary usage is making prints from an 8mpx DSLR.

Color reproduction is subjective to the quality of the ink itself, and in the case of those continuous ink systems, QC varies by quite a fair bit, and I've have encountered cases where some bottles are diluted by unscrupulous suppliers... .
