Why is jujitsu so prevalent in mma and ufc fights ? i'm not trying to rag on these guys. but c'mon- why don't these guys ever do:
-aikido
-judo
-ninjitsu
-kempo
-tang soo do
-combat chi
-krav maga
it seems as though all these guys are only proficient ...

So BJJ is quite dominant and effective in MMA and UFC and is quite decent for self resistance style sparring....
MMA and UFC rules are in favour to BJJ practitioners.

There is a lot of debate over how much of an advantage Jon Jone's freakish 84.5" reach actually is.
Of course Jone's has more skills than just his long reach. He has a great Greco base, athleticism and supreme confidence that allows him to be creative...

Diaz being high as fuck while fighting Gomi and boxing him up and then tapping him with a Gogoplata is one of the greatest moments in MMA imo, if for no other reason than the comedy value.
