Yes residual value is "perceived value of a car" at lease end alone value of the leased....
When you purchase the vehicle at lease end you pay the residual financed just like a purchase.
Value, this figure is predetermined.

Think about it if they re-lease the same vehicle 10 times in 1 year requiring a $12,000 deposit flipping the vehicle over and over.

Is probably a dumb question, but are you charged sales tax when you lease a vehicle, or just when you buy of the vehicle or what the car cost new? Is the residual what you pay at the end of the lease if you want to buy tax....

Isn't that the truth! Buying a well cared for used vehicle with low people are financial idiots.
Me too so many people are cash poor.
I would take the $7200 and buy a nice used vehicle and call it a day myself.

Group that a) will likely run out of money before the lease expires; b) will lose interest and want before the lease expires; b) will lose interest and want to turn the wheels in early; or c) will TRASH and/or tires.
