Can anyone give me an idea of how it works? It's been suggested to me by 2 car dealers and Santander is closed until Monday. I'm 2.5 years into a 5 year deal and owe more than the car is worth. It's very hard on petrol and I just can't afford it any more...

If it is Hire Purchase you if you have any defaults or late payments .

The car back as its not fit for purpose, my advice is ring the finance company and say whats going and found them very helpful ! They asked me if i had passed the 6 month threshold on the finance unhelpful, he basically said tuff luck.
