For unsorted sets, first sorting them.
This works in linear time.

I am finding an extreme lack of communication from HR and hiring managers lately. Essentially, I have multiple interviews, am told a decision will be made by X date, and then hearing nothing. Are others finding this to be the case or am I the only one...
