If you can't catch the scratch with your fingernail, then you may be able to buff it out scratch on my trunk when I bought the car and that article really helped me.

First of all if you have plants around where you are to then you should get rid of them, plants are one of the main places that Gnats/fruit flies are attracted to because of the moist soil from being watered. good luck keeby and let me know how it goes...

Looks like it should buff out to me.
It can be removed if you run your fingernail over it and it doesnt catch.
Be careful with the rubbing compound though.
Nu Finish scratch remover or if you have to; turtle wax rubbing compound.
