I heard that Ford does not want plows on their new F-150's because of electric steering getting screwed up or something. Any one hear more about it?

They are worried that the electrical power steering....
All the different snow plow manufacturers received information from Ford that because of the electrical system on the 2011 F150, a snow plow may not be put onto the trucks.

Recently traded my '09 3/4 ton for '11 1500. Looking to transfer my 7'6 BOSS standard duty plow (600-700lbs w/ mount). I noticed the half ton blade weight is less (400-500lbs w/ mount). I plan on putting on a leveling kit but not sure if I need to spend...

Dose the truck have the snow plow prep package from factory? Reason I ask sometimes they alter air bag200# dosnt seem like too ....
You should be fine with leveling kit.
With a 7-1/2' Fisher plow and it handled it no problem.

So, its been a while since ive been around the plowsite forum. Yet, ive never seen or read about a mount that you can attach to a brush guard?
Surely im not the first person to come up with this idea, but i would love to be able to put my brush guard ...

They are designed for pushing, not pulling.
Of course you could winching off my snow plow mounts.
snow plow mounts on the truck, I don't think you will find a commercial product.

I have a Double Cab and it seems like most of the Tundras I se are double cabs. I like the Double Cab, it has plenty of room for me. A Crew Max would have been nice but, I need the 6.5' bed.
