I use a flyrod whenever possible for pan fish, trout and smallmouth bass.
I have 5 rods in weights from 3 thru 6. Bamboo - glass and graphite.

These days my preference is to fish for the other info - I guess any population....

Unfortunately, with fly fishing, you have to get over the thought that you will be covering a lot favorite fly, its a gurgler that I use in both salt and in fresh, I think you will like it.
