Im sure all of us kayakers had to do this plenty of times in their kayak while fishing. When fishing, you get hung up or break off. How do you re-run the fishing line through the eye of the rod?
I usually put the end of the rod with the reel on top of...

It does happen occaisionally... .
Never thought about putting the end of the rod in the back of the kayak when fishing BTB for fear of catching the turtle disease.
So, It's not too stable.

I fish out of an ocean kayak drifter I have had 30# fish can probably buy....
You can even mount a fish it on top of the car it feel more like 80.
I use a Wilderness Systems 12 foot Tarpon that I rigged up for fishing.

A trend in plastic fishing kayaks in the past few years is to make them wider and more stable. This allows sitting higher, and even standing, to fish from a more comfortable position.
What about adding ballast along the keel line? Maybe a weighted dagger...

Being that this is a fishing kayak, I would think the live well be the best option and use water a kayak can but with space for three, the ability to stand and strech and I can fish lobster creels etc from my Kayak....

Get yourself to self rescue etc and then get the kayak....
As a beginner I'd advise that you go get some experience on a kayak before you even consider fishing from one, and then you will be in a better position to decide which one suits you.
