I had been taking to my mate Noel on Friday and it was decided we would try for some salmon in the river.
Noel had caught a blue salmon a few days before.
Was told to bring some heavy duty gear.

Past few months I've been totally obsessed with eating salmon. I am not buying any cheap or canned or international made in china salmon. I am buying the fresh local salmon which is costing me a few hundred dollars per month now.

Streamer below a caught a salmon out....
It wasnt hard to hook 3-4 salmon in a few hours..
Last year a guy float fishing the other side of the dam in huroc park hooked one early 90s they were common there..
I was definitely surprised.
