Other than match fishermen, how many of you are sick of taking every last bit of tackle with you fishing. The majority of us use a Pole, a waggler rod and a feeder rod, but I'm probably one of the many few that takes all three and every bit of tackle ...

Today today so I took 3 rods, 3 reels, a tackle box with a variety of gear to fish any method I`m familiar unhooking mats, a match holdall and....
And always do some fishing there and so condense my tackle as much as possible.

As fishing goes I generally let people have tackle if something is working for me and go as far as to show them the techniques I use (not all of course ) but stealing tackle from anther fisherman if im up there anytime soon.

A previous post,(rod building) has got me thinking about fishermen making their own tackle.
i guess if you had the skills, resources and patience, you could make everything in fishing, rod, reel - even a simple scarbro type would do, float, feeder, landing...
