A fixed penalty is the best offer you will get in these circumstances, you would be wise to accept though your job is quite important.

I was never offered a fixed penalty to pay, I'd have remembered it, and indeed of both charges - S172....
Now the second part of that sticks in my craw .
It for a) the offence, and b) failure to acknowledge who was driving/pay fixed penalty.

The fixed penalty route is essentially a payment and endorsement not to prosecute.

BUT
the Vehicel Registartion No. on the ticket is M xxx xxx
where as my vehicle registration is N xxx xxx.
