Modnay, I got a letter saying i was approved for medicaid. Today I got a letter today saying I have been approved for SOBRA medicaid. Does anyone know what this is? I think it is for pregnant women in Florida. So maybe it just means it is temporary? Does...

Months after the baby is born then if you still qualify for medicaid you will switch to another plan child will keep it.

I am on SSDI and therefore recieved to the Medicaid Web-Site for a list of physicians that eccept Medicaid.
Meant to add that Medicaid is viewed much like Medicare.

It was about 5 years ago they signed my MIL up for Medi-cal (which is the equivalent to your Medicaid) once Medicaid takes responsibility for your Mom Medicare is no longer a "payer" Medicaid is.
