My husband's grandfather passed away late last week; the memorial is on Wednesday, and the funeral on Thursday. We'll be attending both. What's the proper dress code for a child?? Our DD is 4. She is very girly and has a lot of spring dresses and skirts...

Please accept my- as long as it isn't vivid then you should be fine .
I wouldn't see anything wrong with a light coloured dress for a little girl.

As if dealing with termination isnt bad enough, now I also have to think about the funeral etc. I feel like I just want to go from termination into closure and having the ashes in the house without funerals, death, caskets and all that stuff. It all creeps...

I just had her cremated and picked up her ashes yesterday as a matterWe didn't have a funeral.

I was able to look at some real numbers of flower shrink by store.
We then would throw out anything we founf as well .
By moving 1 or 2 bunches of the same flower into just one bucket.

Got to finalise the flowers with the florist soon, when I booked the florist I didn't have my dress or the bridesmaids. My dress is a warm ivory/cream. The bridesmaids are mint green. I think that's quite neutral, so I want to inject a bit of colour...

Ya had to say about the funeral itself, and found that it was on day one of that two-day soiree I read took place during her funeral, and then left her a white rose that I had purchased as what I read took place during her funeral....
