Hello,
I've recently changed my brake master cylinder seals because it was leaking, and the fluid was very dirty, cleanned everything carefully, and but new fluid (obviously)... now few months later, it is not leaking , but the fluid is dirty again !!...

When you replaced the master cylinder, and refilled with fresh fluid, did you flush the system right through with new fluid i.e.

I'm looking for a cheap source of cutting fluid.
I want something to use manually when turning on the lathe for the finishing cut. At the moment I'm using Rocol RTD, which works great but is expensive - $30 for 500ml, $200 for 5l.

Dumb question but I need to know where to fill/add oil into my '49 roadmaster engine.. I also need to know where to fill/add transmission fluid.
My manual says the transmission fluid dipstick is located under the floor mat of the front passenger area....

The brake fluid 1949s have the transmission fluid dipstick under the transmission hump inside the car, towards.
Joe I don't know about a 49, but I have a 55 Roadmaster .
But up close to the firewall.

Save empties and REFILL Zippo lighter fluid cans with Coleman LIQUID fuel. It's the same thing. Naptha.
If you can find even partial gallon cans of it at a yard sale BUY IT, because it is a hell of a lot cheaper than buying lighter fluid.

I have been to the store a few times and had trouble finding lighter fluid so I try to stock up when I start IS NAPTHA, the same as Zippo lighter fluid....
I didn't know it was the same as lighter fluid.
Thanks for the tip on Coleman fuel.
