I am unable to find any reference to this topic on site here so I apologise if it is old hat .
I find using a barrel of water sometimes cumbersome and difficult to dispose of when the need to replace occurs.
Using older rubber ear muffs as used by owners...

Back-flushing with a hose adapter to one that back flushing is the best way to clear obstacles throughout the water system, especially when.
To keep a closer eye on the water flow when on the water.

The reason....
We get issues in the summer with them flushing to cost some $$.
Or water supplier may be working on their pumps/lines etc.

I have the white, egg shaped arrestors, and it sure sounds like they either need replacing, or recharging.... Can I just unscrew the white part from the base (After shutting off the supply valve) and replace that, or plug the air compressor into the shrader...
