My boyfriend wants to go for Italian food tomorrow night. Are there any choices that are better than others? All meals come with side salad and garlic bread. I think I will stay away from the bread, and have dressing on the side of the salad.

Italian food on it...a steamed vegetable on the side and ask for a side of marinara or spicy marinara and use as a sauce pomodoro would....
To go with tomato based sauces and stay away from the white sauces, or cream based.

The reason i call this "lazy" authentic, is because i use shortcuts such as prepackaged noodles and sauce rather than making from scratch. However! I try to cook everything as authentic as possible (at least to my knowledge).
